Description:
This WP will be lead by UNIBO and includes the initial planning, the management and the monitoring of the project for all its duration.
The planning will consist in:
- definition and distribution of activities and tasks through a detailed project Plan;
- management and administration of the consortium;
- evaluation of the project progress, budget distribution and use;
- communications with the European Commission.
The objective of the WP is to organise the activities of the project and to continuously follow them in order to guarantee the realisation and the quality of the deliverables.
The specific activities include:
- management of organisational, technical, administrative, financial and legal assets;
- organisation of the consortium meetings (the WP includes 3 Steering Committee Meetings and 3 Coordinating Committee Meeting, 5 Plenary meetings and Virtual meetings (regularly organized through the CMS);
- joint calendar for the execution of the different tasks;
- production of the contractual reports;
- resolution of eventual issues that could be raised during the execution of the tasks of the project.
- maintenance of the contacts between the partners (by e-mail, newsletter, the private area of the web and by videoconference);
- follow up of the process and internal quality control of the project.
The management structure of the project is composed by the following groups:
- The Steering Committee of the project, composed by the UNIBO and three LA partners, chosen to ensure an adequate aid and geographical coverage. The main tasks of the Steering Committee consist in: coordinate the actions, monitoring deadlines, deliverables and the quality of the project.
- Coordinating Committee, composed by one representative for each partner and in charge of maintain the relationship with the whole consortium and manage the assigned activities internally.
- All partners have management tasks and are involved in the transversal WP: Management, Dissemination, Exploitation and Quality Assurance.
Any phase will be monitored according to the planning through internal report* in order to facilitate the partners in the reporting of the activities undertaken and in order to have a clear control of the whole project’s activities.
Consortium partners involved:
1) UNIBO will lead this work package and will be in charge of:
- managing the financial and administrative aspects of the project;
- following its overall progress, and each work package activities and deliverables in order to guarantee the realisation with respect to the initial deadlines.
UNIBO will manage the different consortium meetings and will be in charge of the links with the European Commission.
UNIBO will also participate in the settlement of the Steering Committee and the Coordinating Committee groups.
2) The Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (Argentina) will be supporting the coordination for the Mercosur area, ICESI (Colombia) for the CAN area and the Universidad de Colima (Mexico) for the Northern Latin American area.
The 3 Partners will be collecting the reports and collaborating in the specific with the organization of the prospected meetings in its areas. They are also members of the Steering Committee
The clearly defined co-coordination will be a positive element to raise awareness, strenghten a bottom-up and communicative approach.
3) All the partners will participate to each consortium meeting and to provide the Steering and Coordinating Committee with the necessary administrative and financial documents regarding the activity (staff, travels, etc.) in the project.
They will participate in the elaboration of each Internal report giving their own contribution for the definition of the Interim and Final report, contributing also to update the web-site.
